I saw this list of reasons Liberals (so-called, not classical Liberals), are liberal today:

The 12 reasons low-information progressive pawns vote Democrat:

1. They love the fact that they can now marry whatever they want, and next they’ll want their “civil right” to marry their neighbor’s toddler or their own house pets.

2. They believe oil companies’ profits of 4 percent on a gallon of gas are excessive but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15 percent isn’t.

3. They believe the government will do a better job of spending the money that non-Democrats work hard to earn than those hard-working people would.

4. They believe that freedom of speech is fine as long as they agree with what is said and nobody else is offended by it or that it makes no reference to Christianity.

5. They’re way too irresponsible to own a gun, and f o o l i s h l y believe that their local police are all they need to protect them from  m u r d e r e r s and  t h i e v e s BEFORE the c r i m i n a l s can ever harm them or their loved ones.

6. They believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in 10 years if we don’t start driving a Prius and turn down our ACs.

7. They’re not concerned about millions of babies being  a b o r t e d  so long as we keep all d e a t h row inmates alive.

8 They think  i l l e g a l a l i e n s have a right to free health care, education and Social Security benefits, and we should take away the Social Security from those who paid into it.

9. They believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves.They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

10. They believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe k o o k s who would never get their agendas past the voters.

11. They think that it’s better to pay billions for their oil to people who h a t e us, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, spotted owl, gopher or fish.

12. Their heads are so firmly misplaced toward the south end of their bodies it’s unlikely they’ll ever be able to have another point of view.
