The GOP national convention on the fourth and last day began at 7:30pm with more great talks. They were entertaining, informative, and motivational.  Live complete coverage was via the new RNC channel, and we are watching FoxNews and FBN also for the three hours leading up to Ivanka introducing Donald J. Trump to speak at 10pmET.

One year ago I introduced my father to run for president of the United States of America.  He ran in a field of 17 and is now the Nominee. More than party I vote for what is right.  It is not a hard choice this time.

I am here to tell you

Change will come only from without the System.  Donald Trump works hard and I have seen him fight—first for his company and now for the country.  If it is possible to be famous and not well-known, that is my father.  He gave his children a strong moral compass.

He taught us there is nothing we cannot do, if we marry a work ethic with a vision.  We work for the betterment of the world around us.  [Amazing story] They would leave his office feeling life would be better for them.

He has the strength but also kindness this nation needs.   I’ve seen how he works as a leader.  I’ve learned a lot by waking his side at construction sites.  [Her smile and beauty brings her across as sincere and believable.]  You also saw women—he recognizes talent when he finds it.  He is color-blind and gender-neutral.

You are not a builder unless you have a building to show for it—And in my father’s case, an entire skyline.

He is described as a successful entrepreneur because he listens to everyone working for him.  What counts to him is talent and excellence.  There are more women in his company than men, and they are supported, not shut out.

Women represent 46% of the American workforce, making 83 cents for each dollar made for a man.  [A few additional stats.]  My father will make changes that make child care affordable for all. Etc.  American families need relief.

Politicians talk about wage equality—my father will fight for equal pay for equal work, and I will fight right alongside him.

America needs an economy that will help people rise again.  Donald Trump knows the difference in wanting something done, and getting it done.  Vision becomes reality.  He will deliver. [Standing ovation.]  Donald Trump is incapable of thinking small.  “Ivanka, you will be thinking anyway, you may as well be thinking BIG.”

You will never have to think about being let down:  he will fight for you, all the time, all the way.  He can’t stand to see closed factories, wrong schools, and mothers forced to go back to work to [feed a starving child.]

He is an optimist and loves his family.  Judge my father by his results;  judge his competence with his companies and people he hires.  He will call on talent on both sides of the aisle, for bold new solutions.

No one has more faith in the American Dream than my father;  he will be your best champion.  This is the fighter you have chosen as your Nominee.  He is ready to see it all the way through, to every person, from every background.  I’ve loved and respected him my entire life:  I present to you the next president of the United States, Donald….J….Trump!

Thank you, thank you, [Trump, Trump, Trump]  Thank you, thank you very much.  Friends, I humbly and thankfully accept your nomination to run for President of the United States.  [Extended cheers,  USA! USA…]  Trump smiles and repeats with them a few times.

Who would have thought when we started, that WE, and I say WE, would receive more than ever, 60% more votes than eight years ago.  On the other hand, Democrats received 20% less. 

Together we will lead put our party back to the Whitehouse and our country back to prosperity and peace.  We will be a country of law and order.

Our convention occurs at a moment of danger in the nation and the world.  Any leader that does not recognize this is not fit to lead this nation.  Attacks on our police (if I’m elected) will come to an end, and I mean very soon.  The most basic responsibility is for the safety of their citizens.

I will present the facts plainly and honestly.  We cannot afford to be so politically correct anymore.  [Realize that almost every sentence is punctuated with cheers and applause.]  If you want to hear lies, go to the Democrat Convention next week.  But here there will be truth, and nothing else.  [USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA!]

[Build that WALL]   Story of Sarah Routh.  Her killer was released the second time and he is now a fugitive.  I’ve met the family;  to this administration, she was just one more child to sacrifice on the altar of open borders.

Nearly four in ten Black children live in poverty.  Etc. Another 14million have left the workforce entirely.  Our trade deficit, think of this, is $800BILLION last year alone.  We are going to fix that.  [Cheers]

The Budget is no better. And national debt is $19TRILLION dollars and growing.  And what do we have to show for it?  Our bridges and airports are third-world.

Iranian captors forced our Marines to their knees, right after we gave Iran $150BILLION and Iran gave us absolutely nothing.  It will go down in history as the worst deal ever.  President Obama drew a red line in the sand for Syria, and everyone knew it meant absolutely nothing.

Let’s defeat her in November.  I’m sure that Obama regrets nominating her.  Bernie Sanders also noted this.  Iran is on the path to nuclear weapons.

After 15 years of war in the Middle East, and trillions of dollars, the situation is even worse!

Her legacy is death, civil war, and weakness.  But Hillary Clinton’s legacy does not have to be America’s legacy.  A change in leadership is required to produce a change in outcomes.

Tonight I will share my plan (different from theirs) to put America first.

Patriotism and not globalism will be our motto.  NATO nations, and other nations, will treat America with the respect we deserve.

My plan starts with safety at home.  There can be no prosperity without Law….and….Order !!!

On the Economy, I’ll outline tonight the changes.  Powerful lobbyists will oppose me.  Believe me, the rigged system benefits them.  They are throwing money because she is their puppet. [Trump is passionate, in voice and hand gestures!]  Things have to change, and they have to change RIGHT NOW!

I have visited the factories and workers that have been crushed by bad trade deals.  That does not have to continue.  I am your voice.

I have no patience for politicians that put their own personal interests before those of America. [[Interuption, Trump just waits.  USA, USA, ]]  How great are our police, and how great is Cleveland?

Thank you [continuing on].  When innocent people suffer because our political system sells out to corporate lobbyists for cash, I will not look the 0ther way.  [Mentions ServerGate, the lies about it, and she faces no consequences.]  I know that corruption has reached a level never before known in our country.  [Read the transcript for more.]  Her single greatest accomplishment may be getting away with it, when others have done much less, and paid dearly.

[Pause]   I have joined the arena to stand up for people who cannot defend themselves.  Nobody knows the system better than me.  [Gives a knowing nod and smile]  which means I know I can fix it!  Bernie Sanders never had a chance.  We will pursue his biggest issue:  trade deals that strip of our wealth and prosperity.  We will help each and every American.

In this cause, I am proud to have at my side, Gov Mike Pence of Indiana.

America was shocked to our core with police officers being shot and killed.  An attack on law enforcement is an attack on all Americans. I have a message to every last person threatening our police:  When I take office, I will restore law and order to our streets.  Believe me, believe me.  I will appoint people to get the job done.

In this race, I am the ‘law and order’ candidate.  [Obama] has used his office to divide with race and law and order, and failed the inner cities.  It has failed them with jobs, safety, education, and every aspect.

Every action I take, I’ll ask myself:  does this make it better for the young living in Chicago and Baton Rouge. 

We must defeat the barbarians of ISIS and we will defeat them fast.  Once again France is the victim of families being ripped apart by Islamic radicals.  [Mentions USA cities] and many, many more.   They targeted LGBTQ, no good, and we are going to stop them.  They are a hateful, foreign ideology.

And I have to say, as a Republican, it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said.

We must have the absolute best gathering of intelligence in the world.  We must abandon nation-building pursued by H.Clinton.  We must work with our allies to stamp out Islamic terrorism, do it now, do it fast.  [Passion here.]

This includes working with our greatest ally in the region, the state of Israel.  [Long, loud cheers]  Recently I said NATO is obsolete, not doing the job, and countries not paying their fair share.  Shortly thereafter NATO said they will step up their fight on terror—a true step in the right direction.

Further, we must suspend immigration from any nation until complete vetting is possible.  [If they hate us] we do not want them in our country.

This is not believable but this is what is happening:  my opponent wants a 500% increase, in addition to all those coming in per Obama.  There is no way to screen these refugees, who they are and where they come from.

I only want those to come in who want our way of life AND LOVES OUR PEOPLE!  Anyone who espouses violence is not welcome and never will be.

African Americans and Latino Americas suffer job loss the most with illegal immigrants.  We heard from three parents whose children were killed by illegal immigrants. They are just a few of many.  Nothing touches me more than parents who have had children lost because of illegals streaming across our borders.  We can stop it—we have to.

My opponent will never met with the parents, believe me.  She will want only sanctuary cities.  Where was the sanctuary for [names names].  It’s so sad to even be talking about it—because we could solve it so quickly.

These families have been alone, but they are not alone any longer.

Tonight, this candidate, and this nation, stands in their corner, and pledge that we will prevent others from reaching the same fate.  WE WILL BUILD THE WALL TO STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, THE GANGS, THE VIOLENCE, THE DRUGS FROM POURING INTO OUR COMMUNITIES! A great WALL.  I have been honored to receive the endorsement of border agents and will work with them directly to end catch-and-release.  It won’t be happening very much anymore, believe me!

Listen very, very carefully:  the day I take the oath of office, Americans will finally wake up where the laws of the United States are enforced.  We are going to be compassionate and considerate to everyone, but priority is to our own citizens.

My plan is the exact opposite of the radical H.R.Clinton.  She wants mass immigration, mass amnesty, and mass lawlessness.  The cycle of poverty makes it almost impossible for people to enter the middleclass.

It’s been my signature message:  I have made billions with deals and I will make America rich again.  We will use the best business people to make great trade agreements.  Since 1997, we have lost 37% of our manufacturing.  It was Bill Clinton that signed NAFTA, the worst in the history of the world.  Not going to happen anymore:  consequences!

[Other bad decisions supported by H.Clinton]  I pledge to never sign any trade agreement that hurts American workers.  America first, again!  Instead, I’ll make individual deals with individual countries, rather than massive multinational deals of thousands of pages that nobody reads.

Further, I’ll stop the intellectual property theft by China. [He’s yelling, still.]

Next comes the reforming tax code:  H.Clinton wants massive tax increases and I’ll make the greatest cuts ever done by a president, to create new jobs to come roaring back, believe me, and it will happen fast.

Excessive regulations cost our nation $2TRILLION/yr.  To change!

We will lift the regulation on energy creation and bring back $20TRILLION.  Our steel workers and our miners will go back to work again.

This new wealth will improve the life for all Americans.  We will build the roads and bridges. 

We will rescue kids by letting parents send them to schools of their choice.

We will repeal, and replace, disastrous Obamacare;  you will be able to choose your own doctor again. 

And we fill fix TSA at the airports, which is a total disaster.

We are going to work with our young students, with their debt. 

We will completely rebuild our depleted Military.  And the countries that we are protecting will be asked to pay their fair share.

We will take care of our great veterans like they have never been taken before. 

This ten-point plan has received great support. 

We do not need our valiant vets waiting on a list for days and die waiting.

We will have department heads submit lists of wasteful projects that we can eliminate, in my first 100 days. [Yes you will,  Yes you will,  Yes you will!]

We are joining to appoint justices to the Supreme Court that will uphold laws and the Constitution.  We will replace Justice Scalia with a similar justice, very important.  We will protect the Second Amendment for people to keep their families safe.

I thank the Evangelicals for their great support, and I’m not sure I totally deserve it.  They have much to contribute to our politics, yet you cannot speak your own minds from your own pulpits.  We will work real hard to repeal the LBJ measure and protect free speech for all Americans.

We can accomplish all these great things.  All we have to do is start believing in ourselves, and in our country, start believing.  It is time to show the whole world that America is back, bigger, stronger, and better than ever before!

In this journey I am so blessed to have at my side, my lovely wife Melania and my children.  Didn’t they do a great job?  I learned the dignity of work, and of working people, from my dad.  I love the workers. From my mother I learned warmth and charity. She was a great judge of character.  [He praises his sisters and brothers, most special.]

I have had a truly great life in business;  but now, my soul and exclusive mission is to go to work for my country [saying this with great pause and emphasis] TO GO TO WORK FOR YOU [points to the crowd/camera] It’s time to deliver a Victory for the American  people.

We don’t win anymore, but we are going to start winning again!

It is an hour before Convention ‘third day’ beginning at 8pmET. FoxNews and Fox Business Channel are both good.  We learned from One America news-network that China will probably be sanctioned at Rio Olympics in Brazil. 

We see a small rally with Rafael ‘Ted’ Cruz gearing up.  He exchanges a heartfelt hug and kiss with his lovely wife, very emotional.  He feels loyalty to Glenn Beck and the ‘Never Trump’ sentiment.  Lee Carter and others with Stuart Varney agree that if Cruz doesn’t rally others, and instead looks to his own interests, he’s toast. Huckabee is great.

Cruz thinks like Beck that Trump will readily go along with Communist-Democrats and Cruz can challenge in 2020!  Of course, Trump will fulfill his very Conservative and Constitutional promises and will run for reelection.  Hopefully, Cruz will be on the Supreme Court.

I’ll let others cover the Cruz and Rubio talks.  And, of course, when the convention starts, we mainly watch the new RNC channel, except when the band is playing, at which time we bounce between FBN and FoxNews.

Wow. WOW!  Wow!   Welcome Cleveland.  None of us could predict this:  the MOVEMENT we would start.  Today my father stands after shattering all records. He inspires multiple generations, like Millennials like myself. 

He could no longer tolerate inept government, and bear witness to Second Amendment attacked, and a crooked deal with Iraq.  He set aside his company, at a time at his pinnacle.  He chose to give back the Dream to people it has eluded for so long.  Who better to apply practical experience?  Debt goes up $2BILLION a day.

Who better can negotiate companies back to America, like Ford and Nabisco? It is time for a president with commonsense and can make a Deal with our tax dollars.  We need a president who looks forward to lead, and not lead from the back.

[Example of the ice skating rink, investing $2million of his own money to complete.  Under a $1million under budget, in six month.  Other examples.] 

It was what he does;   it is who he is!    “Impossible, is his starting point!”

Oprah asked if he would ever run for president, and he replied, “Only if it gets so bad, I have no choice.”  Lives have been cut short by illegals. I see in his eyes disappointment with USA rated low in education.  TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS of dollars and loss of life. 

I see in his eyes his belief that America can be great again.

I want to thank my father for the life he has proved; future children; and to those in foundations/company.  What we do for others is the measure of our life here on Earth.  I started a foundation founded on integrity, honesty, and service.  I expect other foundations to not be for $$ and scandal.

To the unemployed voter sitting at home, my father is running for you.  For the veteran in a VA hospital, to the educator, my father is running for you; to single-mothers that can’t afford, my father is running for you.  Vote for the candidate who has never been a politician and never received a paycheck from the government.

Vote for the candidate that cannot be bought or steered from the course that is trusted and true.  Vote for the candidate that does not need this job, my friends.  I am honored to be part of the journey.  Dad, you have once again taught of by example.  You are my best friend, the next president of the United States.  [Trump is in the audience, with children, smiling and looking pleased and proud!]  The audience appreciates.

Calista Gingrich introduces her husband, to speak on national security.  He has spent a lifetime making America safe  [credentials.]

Newt:  I am amazed at Calista’s talents and achievements.  I am impressed with Donald Trump bringing us all together.  He invited those he defeated to speak.  You need to see that Ted Cruz said to vote your conscience to support the Constitution.  There is only one candidate in November that will: that is Donald Trump. 

Look at the courage of Donald Trump to rise:  Islamic terrorists want to kill us.  Obama/Hillary/Democrats lie about the terrorists.  If Islamists had their way, they would kill GAYS/lesbians.  [Examples: Bangladesh, Turkey, Paris stalking, murdered, raped his wife, and about to kill the 3yr-old when the police killed him.]  All this in the last 37 days.  One analysis:  30,000 killed by terrorists since Jan 2015.  We are losing the war and we must change course to win the war.

Let me be very clear because I know media will try their best to distort this.  Most Muslims are our friends.  The challenge is that even with a small percentage, it is still a large number.  Of Muslims, 9% are favorable to violence to those who disagree, and that is 16 million, and that is just one nation.

We have been very lucky, more so than Israel, France and Germany.  The worst-case scenario would be 300,000 Americans killed in a bombing of a city.  That is not just my view.  North Korea, Pakistan, and soon Iran have nuclear weapons. We are sleepwalking through danger.  They lie to us about the threat.

Hillary Clinton has been right at the center of this deception.  We see Benghazi, and lack of screening of Syrian refugees. She wants to increase by 500%.   Only by electing the right leader can we rebuild the America we love.

A strong military is the best way to a world of peace.  Donald Trump will build the security wall.  He will take care of our veterans and give them more choices about their care.  He will blow apart ridiculous regulations.  We will be the most competitive country in the world.

Security is the basis for strong families and neighborhoods.  If anyone threatens the life of the president, the secret service is on them in a second.  Our police deserve the same protection. Donald Trump won the nomination because he puts the people first, same with Mike Pence.

The challenge to everyone sitting here, and watching at home, is to stand with Donald Trump and Mike Pence.  We can make America first again.

Pence:  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  In behalf of my family, here and gone, I accept your nomination to run for VP of the United States of America.

 

I’m a Christian, a Conservative, and a Republican, in that order.  I never thought I would be standing here, but there I was, in NYC standing with the person that won among 17 great candidates, bringing in new voters.

I grew up on the front row of the American Dream;  my father had a corn field, watching mom and dad building everything that mattered.  He was a great father, a vet from Vietnam.  My mother Nancy is here [applause]. 

I started my career in the other party, but came over with the Reagan revolution.  I married the girl of my dreams, Karen Pence [applause].  Regardless of any title I will ever have D.A.D. is the best, including our marine, Michael J. Pence. So proud of you guys [applause].

We love to suit up and win.  [Becoming passionate]  With your back up, we will elect Donald Trump to be the 45^th president of the United States of America.  We will win by being honest with everyone.

We will not pile a mountain of debt on our children.  As Ronald Reagan said, we are tired of those far off planning our lives.  Let’s pledge that Hillary Clinton will never become president of the United States of America.

We do not need a third term for Obama;  she had Hillarycare.  We are told it is the best we can do.  It is just the best they can do.  In Indiana we reduced debt: Conservative principles work every time you put them into practice.  [USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA]  We’ve cut taxes every year since I took office in Indiana.  That’s what you can do with commonsense leadership, and what Donald Trump will do in the White House.

Donald Trump is a ‘doer’ in the game of ‘talkers’.  He is his own man, distinctly American.  He finds his home in the land of the free and the home of the brave.  [USA, USA, USA, USA, USA, USA]  The funny thing is the party in power (and media) can’t figure out the man who doesn’t quit.  He is tough and their puny efforts only make him more popular.

He will never turn his back on those that serve to protect us.  Let’s let them know we will stand with those who stand on the thin blue line in America.

I’ve seen how he treats those who work with him, with kindness and respect.  I grant you he can be tough in a debate, we’ll see that again.

As we say back home:  “You can’t fake good kids!”  Aren’t they amazing?

These are the measures:  chosen as our nomination for our time.  On the other side, they outdid themselves for an insider.  They have a stale agenda and people are tired of Secretary of The Status Quo.

When Donald Trump becomes the president of the United States, the change will be …  …  …   HUGE!

Problems are discussed in Washington DC, but they are never solved. It seems that no detail of our lives is too small for them to want to control, and no part of the Constitution too large for them to ignore.  We see borders ignored, then Donald Trump came along, to say what everybody was thinking:  protect our nation, be serious and win again.

That’s the message that men and women in both parties want to hear.  How it turns out depends on us.  The press will do have Hillary’s work for her.  The good news is it won’t be enough. Issue by issue, we will take our message to the American people, security and prosperity.

Many Democrat voters see they are taken for granted, like coal miners.  Donald Trump digs coal.  African Americans see missed promises and Donald Trump will deliver;  Hispanic Americans want the law upheld, education improved, and the economy running again.

It is the party of Lincoln that will open the door for every American to prosper in this land.  Executive orders and activist judges will be reversed.  Think carefully about nominations to the Supreme Court.  Think of sanctity of life, Second Amendment, and who will nominate for lifetimes.

Hillary Clinton undid the gains in the Middle East.  She left Americans in harm’s way in Benghazi and said “What difference, at this point, does it make.”  [Lock her up;  Lock her up;  Lock her up;  Lock her up]  She should be disqualified from being commander-in-chief.  We are weakened at home and abroad.   Weakness arouses evil.  ISIS is a testament to this truth.  We cannot have four more years of being weak before our enemies and untrusted by our allies.  Donald Trump will rebuild our military and destroy enemies of freedom. 

Know this: With Donald Trump, America stands with Israel.

The presidency of Barack Obama ends exactly six months from today.  [We want Trump; We want Trump; We want Trump; We want Trump!]

And this much is certain about the Obama years:  it is not ending well.  Politics has failed.  Remember that what unites us far exceeds that which divides us.  We are, after all, “one nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for all!”  I promise to keep that commitment and pray daily.

We have come to another rendezvous with destiny and I have faith that God can still heal our land.   But we have a choice to make.  [Lists all the Conservative issues, like law and order, Supreme Court] you have just one choice:  elect Donald Trump to make America great again.  We will !!!

[Wild and long applause!]  I’m not politically correct, hate it, antithetical to the founding of this country. They want everyone to sit down and shut up.  It is time to stand up.  Use your amazing brain for reasoning.  The kind of people they are, determines our support.

Democrats and media have an agenda.  Also, some in our party say HRClinton would only last four or eight years.  Use your brain. We may never recover from her Supreme Court appointments.  She will also appoint federal judges.  Not only that, she would denigrate education.

This kind of deception is not what America is all about.  We can fight.  HRClinton’s mentor and hero was Saul Alinsky, she wrote her thesis on him.  In his book, he credits Lucifer who gained his own kingdom with deception.  This is a nation ‘Under God’ so think about that. 

If we continue to allow them to take God out of our lives, God will remove us from his protection.  Donald Trump understands this.  He is willing to take on the establishment against all odds.  He works for America and not for his own interests.  God reserved him for a time such as this.

But do you know what?  It is not about Donald Trump,  it is not about me.  Thomas Jefferson saw this point.  He saw that before we lose Freedom, we would rise up and take back control of our nation. Now is that time!  It is time to rise up and take America back.

[Incredible and impeccable beauty, so charming.]  Whatever he does, he does it well.  He motivates me and others to do their best.  He draws out the best, a good quality for POTUS.

He wrote sweet notes on every one of my report cards, going back to kindergarten.  He always encourages.  He always asks about my family in Georgia. [Mentions family members who served in the military.]

The mark of a good parent is how they bolster you when you are down.  He gives us good advice but keeps it short, “Find your own way;  be fearless;  do not let obstacles get in your way.”  He is a natural-born encourager.

In person, my father is so friendly and considerate.  My friends always walk away surprised.  I have admired my father all of my life, and appreciate the opportunity to tell you.

Donald Trump, Jr. (million-dollar presence/confidence!)  Good evening.  I’m Donald Trump Jr, father of five children.  Husband of a great mother, and son of a great man, Donald Trump, Sr. 

Let me talk about the country.  For too long we have not made the tough decisions.  Some believe solving our problems is an impossible task.  That is why we have to elect the man who knows it is possible.  We are still Americans and we will get it all back, better than before.

I know my father:  when people tells him it can’t be done, that is when he goes ahead and gets it done!  He changed the skyline of New York.  I’ve seen the look in his eye, when someone told him he couldn’t run  [twinkle in his eye and a big smile]  he decided to run for the presidency. 

He stood right here and debated other great candidates;  now he comes here again, and we put him over the top in delegate count.

When my father says he will make America great and fix it, he means it!

[This is a very handsome orator, passionate and very persuasive!]

He sees the potential in those without college resumes, seeing opportunities they don’t see in themselves.  We learn from people with doctorates in common sense.  [Examples of common workers who were given opportunity to rise in the Trump Organization.]  Whoever we are, we can get ahead and prosper together.

The other party looks for better lives for the poor, but they don’t tell you that they are the party that disadvantaged us.  Bernie Sanders warned that new waves of immigrants keep wages down.

Growing up, my brothers and sisters had benefits—we want those benefits for all.  Let parents choose where to send their children to school.  That’s competition.  The other party wants to run everything.  Dodd-Frank has spun off 20,000 pages of regulations.  It destroys small businesses in favor of big businesses who can afford lawyers. 

The other party is the party of ‘risk’.   Mark Guise was at risk in Benghazi.  He pleaded for added security, leading up to the attack.  It was a tragedy and would be repeated if she is elected.    Who would you rather call?  [This is passionate and powerful!]

She can’t even pass a security check.  She wants to abolish the Second Amendment.  Criminals don’t abide gun laws—lives have been lost under this administration. 

She would cut our energy independence.  She would keep us bound to her buddies in the Middle East.  She is too much of a risk.

We are going to make our schools the best in the world, for all ethnicities.

We are going elect a president who will give us a better tax code;  immigration law, gives them jobs;  repeal and replace Obamacare, while keeping SocSec, unlike HRClinton.  …  He will not bow to other nations.

A president not beholden to special interests, foreign and domestic.  A president who will not use the Oval Office to enrich himself. 

He won’t need to run a focus group to form a simple opinion.  Etc.  He will give the working people who built this nation a voice again.  When we elect him we will have done that.  [[ This was AWESOME!!]]

Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson starts his talk with another prayer, like they always do at their family evening dinners.  He jokes with the crowd.  “Media must be humbled by being so wrong, about so much, for so long.”  Trump has our back.  Donald Trump will always tell you the Truth as he sees it.

Scott Baio speaks about Make America Safe Again.  Trust Trump. 

He concludes with, “Let’s make America, America again.”

Rich Perry, “Hello, Cleveland!” Tells of housing Marcus Luttrell.  Introduces him to the microphone, to cheers.   “Let’s take care of our Vets!”

“I stood with giants and to the next generation, step up because your war is here.  I swear to God I’ll spend the rest of my life paying America back!” 

Mother of Benghazi computer guy murdered.  Why?  I blame Hillary C.

“If we can’t trust her to give us the Truth, why should we give her the Presidency?”   (Video of HRC on Benghazi, “We didn’t lose a single person.” Etc. showing the timeline. The battle dragged on for hours and not one soldier or aircraft was sent.  The WH never intended to.)

Black American Dad tells of his son.  LAPD found the killer, from Mexico.  The L.A. Mexican gangs targeted young Black Americans. Obama didn’t care.  Trump will build the Wall.  Come together w/ Trump-Pence.

TX Rep. Michael McCaul, chair of the Homeland Security Committee.  (1) End sanctuary cities;  (2) stop importing dangerous people;  and (3) secure our borders.  To radical Islam,  “You may have fired the first shot, but America will fire the last.”  God Bless Donald Trump and America.

Wild cheers for the next speaker, Milwaukee Co Sheriff, David Clarke.  “I would like to make something very clear:  BLUE LIVES MATTER in USA.”

WI Rep Sean Duffy and his lovely Hispanic American are the parents of ten and they have rules:  no boys in the girls’ bedrooms, no servers in the basement, and no lying, especially to the FBI.  This is a great speech and you can see they are Republican rising stars!  They are wildly popular.

Next speaker:  “Give God the glory”, Rep. Darryl Glenn, Black TX guy.  I’m asked, ‘Why are you a Republican’, and I answer, “Because the Democrat Party is the party of handouts, and all you have left in your pocket is CHANGE, little change, nickels and dimes.”  This is not about Black vs White America, President Obama, this is about the UNITED States of America.  Someone with a nice tan needs to say this, “ALL lives matter.”  Etc. [He’s awesome!]  “If you put them in harm’s way,  let…them…win!”  Believe we can win, “As God is my witness, we can make America safe again.”

Arkansas Tom Cotton:  The Army didn’t teach me to lead from behind; it isn’t working.  His Dad went to Vietnam in 1969; he did the same in Iraq and Afghanistan.  God called us to serve, just as he calls you.  We don’t fight because we hate our enemies but because we love our country.   

Postscript:  There were many short and amazing talks, plus great FoxNews interviews of the speakers after they spoke.  It is an amazing Convention!

Start of the Republican National Convention

Republican National Convention, July 18-21, 2016, Cleveland, OH

We plan to write (1) what we learn;  and (2) highlights of ‘main’ speakers (in our opinion).

Monday, July 18, 2016:  Reince Priebus kicks it off at 1:30pmET.  A Jewish rabbi gave the opening prayer, and a Born Again Christian from South Carolina (Black American) said Trump is of his same mind, and then gave the afternoon benediction. After some speakers, a mediocre 6-piece combo sings. Sharon Day is co-chair of the RNC, introduces Jeff Larson, Convention CEO who thanks the delegate/’activists’ and quotes Newt Gingrich: the GOP, the party of Growth, Opportunity, and Progress.

Alexandra Smith is the co-chair of the young Republicans and speaks well. “We are a different and diverse generation; Reagan said it has to be fought for. A fresh start for America, that’s what we’re for. We are an unstoppable force for freedom in America.”

Other reps of GOP groups speak, like National Confederation of Republican Women.  “Get onboard”.

“Free markets are better than ‘free stuff’” says the president of Young Republicans.

FYI:  at 3pmET some ads are running, featuring Republican governors inviting businesses into respective states. After some closing procedures, there is a three-hour break, Convention starts again at 8pmET.

Lieutenant General (ret.) Michael Flynn says he expects Trump to win in a landslide. 

RNC Spokesman Sean Spicer laughs at the efforts of Senator Mike Lee of Utah, and rabid delegates from Colorado, to force a rollcall on the changing the rule of the First Vote.  Ken Cuccinelli supports Trump but wanted the rollcall.  Spicer points out that 44 states and all the territories overwhelmingly supported Trump. They started with nine states calling for rollcall, and on the voice call, “Yea” was just a little more than “Nay” and the gravel said, “The Yea’s have it.”  Since the Nay people went on and on, there was time for the Trump ‘whips’ to get three of them to rescind after it was explained to them that “what they voted for wasn’t what they thought.”  Also Iowa also changed, so only five were left when seven were needed.   

Spicer also explained that the Rules Committee addressed significant changes, including that only five states are needed to be on convention ballots, [not the eight when Romney ran against Ron Paul.]

Ben Carson and others say it will only increase viewership, when you consider Mike Pence and the Supreme Court. 

It will also be anti-Hillary, and the great family of Melania/Donald Trump.  Trump will introduce Melania who is more likable than Mrs Clinton;  Trump will accept and speak on Thursday, after the stage is rebuilt, but will be campaigning elsewhere tomorrow. 

Greta interviewed Newt Gingrich and said amazing things, including “Those who say you can’t build a Wall are just nuts!  Clearly you can build the Wall if you want to.”  Tomorrow, Clarissa will have two minutes to introduce Newt who will then have 13 minutes.
