Notable LDS(Mormons) politically speaking

Notable LDS(Mormons) including terms of interest.  Plus, a review of how Glenn Beck encouraged Love/Understanding/Uniting…. Romney, not so much.

Before discussing the political ramifications of faith and religion in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, read up on LDS.org and Mormon.org (including for the press).  You will see there is gravitas in the name, including JESUS CHRIST (and the capital ‘T’ on ‘The’.) There is a prophet for the whole world and a Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Since they are interested in the whole world, they do not support specific candidates, and only rarely take on political issues.

So even though NV Senator Reid seems to give some of us a bad name, the Church will not speak against this.  It is said that his brother beat him up, “When Larry Beat Harry” and his land deals are quite well known.  What we know is we love the enemy as we are all children of Heavenly Father (sometimes there needs to be Tough Love) and He gives us free agency. A main part of our time on Earth, before we return to Christ and Heavenly Father is to gain experience.  We live in trying times as a testing mortal period, “Ask and ye shall receive.”

We solicit your comments under the following position.  Lynnette liked Senator Ted Cruz (as does Dr Robert Sklaroff) and I do too.  He is an outsider working for change.  Further, I liked the message of Donald J. Trump and said to myself, “Anyone that speaks against his MESSAGE loses my respect and support.”  So when Mitt Romney said how bad Trump would be, I wanted to hear his reasons. To me, his reasoning was all wrong; same with Glenn Beck. He said world trade would suffer, but the fact is that we are already suffering bad deals and trade deficits. How could it be worse? People say Trump has no specifics, but he has been very specific, such as his Foreign Affairs speech. More will come, hopefully.

Assessment of Media and Candidates

Assessment of Media and Candidates  (Rush, Hannity, Jones, Beck; Dave Ramsey replaces Beck as #3 talk radio (presenting personal finance/life.)

Rush Limbaugh is a lot like Donald Trump in that he used colorful language, speaking the truth, for a few years, but his brother David Limbaugh convinced him that a better tone would be more to the liking of a wider audience.

At any rate, your counterpoints and discussion are encouraged.  Type a ‘comment’ under this post.   Rush Limbaugh speaks against those dividing the anti-ESTABLISHMENT movement, but says he doesn’t want to name names (he probably means Glenn Beck).  I’ll wait also and put some comments under this post.  There is a lot to say—hope I’m not just talking to myself.

Religion Culture Politics

Religion  .GT.  Culture  .GT.  Politics, in that Politics is war for men, the traditional American culture includes women; but Religious-passion trumps them all!
Did you have an excellent Mother’s Day?  We are reminded that women have the ultimate power because spiritual strength trumps physical strength.  Look at Helen of Troy—the men of Rome/Italy and the men of Athens/Greece were ‘crazy’ over her beauty and charm.  Look at the influence that Michelle “My Belle” Obama had over Barack Hussein Obama.

Politics is war to some people.  Men are from Mars (the god of war) and women are from Venus (the goddess of romance).  So although men want to solve things immediately, women have the better overview—they see the total forest and men see the leaves on the trees.  Quite often, the women are willing to let the men fight and just turn them to the right direction.

But what we see is that the American culture has degraded and some men didn’t even know it happened.  Rush Limbaugh teaches that (among other reasons) Liberalism is insidious and easy to creep in, like socialized medicine and Planned Parenthood. Liberals never sleep but Conservatives assume they can just rest in peace.  Not so !!!  Further, what we see is that when it comes to voting, a lot of voters will just go with the pop culture, even when it is rotting.

But even though the popular culture of many will capture the vote, with passion and the right message and messenger RELIGIOUS ZEAL can overcome both politics and culture.  For example, Jihadists have a religious zeal, but anti-Jihadists have an equal zeal.  They fight for a false god, and we fight for the true god, Jesus Christ, (or Jehovah if you are Jewish) and Heavenly Father (they are one in purpose) i.e., the creator.  Did you know there is a new Muslim Reform Movement that condemns Jihad?  www.MuslimReformMovement.org

Mormons and President Donald J. Trump .!. .!. .!.

On the weekend, your humble Editor will explain his own religion and connections to some other LDS notables: Harry 'Dingy' Reid;  Mitt Romney;  Glenn Beck;  apathetic LDS in Utah;  inspired Mormons in Utah; leaders of the LDS Church; and LDS not in Utah, and throughout the world.

We invite you to read, learn, and comment.  Rush Limbaugh explained how ESTABLISHMENT Republicans like George Romney, John Rockefeller, and one other wanted Richard Nixon to run in the Republican Primary against Goldwater (who was bound to lose to any Democrat after the JFKennedy assassination) but he refused and campaigned for Goldwater instead.  So the trio of ESTABLISHMENT Republicans (G.Romney, J.Rockefeller, one other) worked to sabotogue the Goldwater campaign.  It worked.  Nixon rose to the presidency and the other three flaundered.  This is the history told briefly and only once by Rush Limbaugh.
