Memorial Day BIO for Charles E. Shipp (Northrop Career)

BIO of Charlie Shipp (Memorial Day 2016, May 30th)
We are just ordinary people (Lynnette and I) doing extraordinary things and experiencing mini-miracles. It’s been an amazing ride and we are now semi-retired and working together as agents of Melaleuca, grandparents of one shy of 20 grandchildren, so amazing are they, from CA, to ID and CO.  We met in a choir in SLC and sing in the Southern California Mormon Choir, having sung in Washington DC on Memorial Day and at Lincoln Center with the US Air Force Concert Band.

Having graduated from BYU and then a Masters Degree from Univ of Utah in laser physics, music, stat/math, I hired into Northrop and saved the world about seven times, you may be interested:

(The reason I mention this is because I have friends who serve, not on the front lines, but in ways to fight the new wars to defend America and keep our women and children safe, mainly with technology.  I worked in Scientific Programming, first with lasers but when mgt discovered I could program, I always programmed for the senior scientist.)

T-38   Trainer plane for the Air Force, and predecessor to the F-5
F-5     Freedom Fighter military aircraft for 20 free world countries
TISEO     Missile guidance for military aircraft, dogfighting planes 20 miles away.
STARS     Guided missile star constellation recognition, in-flight
FLIGHT-SIMULATION     Also, wind-tunnel flight testing of models
Nuclear Harding     The technology to withstand counter-measures
AIRS/MX     Advanced nuclear missile guidance, won the Cold War
F-18 for the Navy  and   B-2 for the Air Force   and Joint-Force Cruise Missile
There were other programs.  When I first started in 1969 (yes, nearly 50 yrs ago) I would write at least three ad-hoc programs for the senior scientist and other managers each week.  These were amazing ways to defend America, and that was 25 to 50 years ago!

Before my time, the Black Widow military aircraft of Northrop, with newly invented radar, prevented Nazi Germany from totally destroying London with their bombing.  QUESTION: Who lost more lives?  Neville Chamberlain, the pacifist, or Winston Churchill in a defensive war?  QUESTION: Why did we lose the Vietnam War after we had won on the battlefield?  Because of Liberalism in the press. Expect this to not happen again!  Having saved America from the Evil abroad, it is time to save America from the Evil within.  It is not just the physical safety but spiritual safety.  Think of the Founding Fathers, so much smarter and inspired with the Constitution and original papers.    This is why we do NOTES: to get the Truth out.

HERE ARE OUR BRIEF-SURVEY QUESTIONS:
Do you want NOTES (1) M-F;  or (2) Friday-only;   or (3) Last Friday only (once a month) ???
Going into the General Election, do you have coworkers we should add to our eList(s) ?
What comments/suggestions do you have for us?  We want NOTES to help you the most.

Thanks for being on our eList.  We have faith American voters will come through in Nov.

For new readers, send an eMail note to Charles.Edwin.Shipp@gMail.com
or MacFamily@AOL.com or to RushEcho@AOL.com and we’ll add you in.

Notable LDS(Mormons) politically speaking

Notable LDS(Mormons) including terms of interest.  Plus, a review of how Glenn Beck encouraged Love/Understanding/Uniting…. Romney, not so much.

Before discussing the political ramifications of faith and religion in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, read up on LDS.org and Mormon.org (including for the press).  You will see there is gravitas in the name, including JESUS CHRIST (and the capital ‘T’ on ‘The’.) There is a prophet for the whole world and a Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Since they are interested in the whole world, they do not support specific candidates, and only rarely take on political issues.

So even though NV Senator Reid seems to give some of us a bad name, the Church will not speak against this.  It is said that his brother beat him up, “When Larry Beat Harry” and his land deals are quite well known.  What we know is we love the enemy as we are all children of Heavenly Father (sometimes there needs to be Tough Love) and He gives us free agency. A main part of our time on Earth, before we return to Christ and Heavenly Father is to gain experience.  We live in trying times as a testing mortal period, “Ask and ye shall receive.”

We solicit your comments under the following position.  Lynnette liked Senator Ted Cruz (as does Dr Robert Sklaroff) and I do too.  He is an outsider working for change.  Further, I liked the message of Donald J. Trump and said to myself, “Anyone that speaks against his MESSAGE loses my respect and support.”  So when Mitt Romney said how bad Trump would be, I wanted to hear his reasons. To me, his reasoning was all wrong; same with Glenn Beck. He said world trade would suffer, but the fact is that we are already suffering bad deals and trade deficits. How could it be worse? People say Trump has no specifics, but he has been very specific, such as his Foreign Affairs speech. More will come, hopefully.

At any rate, your counterpoints and discussion are encouraged.  Type a ‘comment’ under this post.

Assessment of Media and Candidates

Assessment of Media and Candidates  (Rush, Hannity, Jones, Beck; Dave Ramsey replaces Beck as #3 talk radio (presenting personal finance/life.)

Rush Limbaugh is a lot like Donald Trump in that he used colorful language, speaking the truth, for a few years, but his brother David Limbaugh convinced him that a better tone would be more to the liking of a wider audience.

At any rate, your counterpoints and discussion are encouraged.  Type a ‘comment’ under this post.   Rush Limbaugh speaks against those dividing the anti-ESTABLISHMENT movement, but says he doesn’t want to name names (he probably means Glenn Beck).  I’ll wait also and put some comments under this post.  There is a lot to say—hope I’m not just talking to myself.

Religion Culture Politics

Religion  .GT.  Culture  .GT.  Politics, in that Politics is war for men, the traditional American culture includes women; but Religious-passion trumps them all!
Did you have an excellent Mother’s Day?  We are reminded that women have the ultimate power because spiritual strength trumps physical strength.  Look at Helen of Troy—the men of Rome/Italy and the men of Athens/Greece were ‘crazy’ over her beauty and charm.  Look at the influence that Michelle “My Belle” Obama had over Barack Hussein Obama.

Politics is war to some people.  Men are from Mars (the god of war) and women are from Venus (the goddess of romance).  So although men want to solve things immediately, women have the better overview—they see the total forest and men see the leaves on the trees.  Quite often, the women are willing to let the men fight and just turn them to the right direction.

But what we see is that the American culture has degraded and some men didn’t even know it happened.  Rush Limbaugh teaches that (among other reasons) Liberalism is insidious and easy to creep in, like socialized medicine and Planned Parenthood. Liberals never sleep but Conservatives assume they can just rest in peace.  Not so !!!  Further, what we see is that when it comes to voting, a lot of voters will just go with the pop culture, even when it is rotting.

But even though the popular culture of many will capture the vote, with passion and the right message and messenger RELIGIOUS ZEAL can overcome both politics and culture.  For example, Jihadists have a religious zeal, but anti-Jihadists have an equal zeal.  They fight for a false god, and we fight for the true god, Jesus Christ, (or Jehovah if you are Jewish) and Heavenly Father (they are one in purpose) i.e., the creator.  Did you know there is a new Muslim Reform Movement that condemns Jihad?  www.MuslimReformMovement.org

Rush Limbaugh is a lot like Donald Trump in that he used colorful language, speaking the truth, for a few years, but his brother David Limbaugh convinced him that a better tone would be more to the liking of a wider audience.

Mormons and President Donald J. Trump .!. .!. .!.

On the weekend, your humble Editor will explain his own religion and connections to some other LDS notables: Harry 'Dingy' Reid;  Mitt Romney;  Glenn Beck;  apathetic LDS in Utah;  inspired Mormons in Utah; leaders of the LDS Church; and LDS not in Utah, and throughout the world.

We invite you to read, learn, and comment.  Rush Limbaugh explained how ESTABLISHMENT Republicans like George Romney, John Rockefeller, and one other wanted Richard Nixon to run in the Republican Primary against Goldwater (who was bound to lose to any Democrat after the JFKennedy assassination) but he refused and campaigned for Goldwater instead.  So the trio of ESTABLISHMENT Republicans (G.Romney, J.Rockefeller, one other) worked to sabotogue the Goldwater campaign.  It worked.  Nixon rose to the presidency and the other three flaundered.  This is the history told briefly and only once by Rush Limbaugh.

This Foreign Policy speech will win the Presidency .!.

OUTLINE of the
DONALD J. TRUMP FOREIGN POLICY SPEECH
[ED:  Awesome content!   …  This is but half of it   …   Text is omitted, where  ‘’ is substituted.
… The best part of the Foreign Policy presentation is in the exciting details you can read later.]
 From:   https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/donald-j.-trump-foreign-policy-speech

·        Opening, Welcome, Thanks, Purpose
Thank you for the opportunity to speak to you, and thank you to the Center for the National Interest for honoring me with this invitation.   America First will be the major and overriding theme of my administration.
·        Five main weaknesses in our foreign policy
Our foreign policy is a complete and total disaster. No vision, no purpose, no direction, no strategy.  Today, I want to identify five main weaknesses in our foreign policy.
·              First, Our Resources Are Overextended
President Obama has weakened our military by weakening our economy. He’s crippled us with wasteful spending, massive debt, low growth, a huge trade deficit and open borders. …  I am the only person running for the Presidency who understands this problem and knows how to fix it.
·              Secondly, our allies are not paying their fair share.
Our allies must contribute toward the financial, political and human costs of our tremendous security burden. But many of them are simply not doing so. They look at the United States as weak and forgiving and feel no obligation to honor their agreements with us. …  The whole world will be safer if our allies do their part to support our common defense and security.  A Trump Administration will lead a free world that is properly armed and funded.
·              Thirdly, our friends are beginning to think they can’t depend on us.
We’ve had a president who dislikes our friends and bows to our enemies.  He negotiated a disastrous deal with Iran, and then we watched them ignore its terms, even before the ink was dry.  Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and, under a Trump Administration, will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.  President Obama has not been a friend to Israel. He has treated Iran with tender love and care and made it a great power in the Middle East – all at the expense of Israel, our other allies in the region and, critically, the United States.  We’ve picked fights with our oldest friends, and now they’re starting to look elsewhere for help.
·              Fourth, our rivals no longer respect us.
In fact, they are just as confused as our allies, but an even bigger problem is that they don’t take us seriously any more.  When President Obama landed in Cuba on Air Force One, no leader was there to meet or greet him – perhaps an incident without precedent in the long and prestigious history of Air Force One.  Then, amazingly, the same thing happened in Saudi Arabia -- it's called no respect. …  He has even allowed China to steal government secrets with cyber attacks and engage in industrial espionage against the United States and its companies.  We’ve let our rivals and challengers think they can get away with anything.  If President Obama’s goal had been to weaken America, he could not have done a better job.
·              Finally, America no longer has a clear understanding of our foreign policy goals.
Since the end of the Cold War and the break-up of the Soviet Union, we’ve lacked a coherent foreign policy.  One day we’re bombing Libya and getting rid of a dictator to foster democracy for civilians, the next day we are watching the same civilians suffer while that country falls apart.  We're a humanitarian nation. But the legacy of the Obama-Clinton interventions will be weakness, confusion, and disarray.  We have made the Middle East more unstable and chaotic than ever before.  We left Christians subject to intense persecution and even genocide.  Our actions in Iraq, Libya and Syria have helped unleash ISIS.  And we’re in a war against radical Islam, but President Obama won’t even name the enemy!  Hillary Clinton also refuses to say the words “radical Islam,” even as she pushes for a massive increase in refugees.  After Secretary Clinton’s failed intervention in Libya, Islamic terrorists in Benghazi took down our consulate and killed our ambassador and three brave Americans. Then, instead of taking charge that night, Hillary Clinton decided to go home and sleep! Incredible.  Clinton blames it all on a video, an excuse that was a total lie. Our Ambassador was murdered and our Secretary of State misled the nation – and by the way, she was not awake to take that call at 3 o'clock in the morning.  And now ISIS is making millions of dollars a week selling Libyan oil.
·        This will change when I am president.
To all our friends and allies, I say America is going to be strong again. America is going to be a reliable friend and ally again.    We need a new, rational American foreign policy, informed by the best minds and supported by both parties, as well as by our close allies.  This is how we won the Cold War, and it’s how we will win our new and future struggles.
·              First, we need a long-term plan to halt the spread and reach of radical Islam.
Containing the spread of radical Islam must be a major foreign policy goal of the United States.  …  We must stop importing extremism through senseless immigration policies.  …  And then there’s ISIS. I have a simple message for them. Their days are numbered. I won’t tell them where and I won’t tell them how. We must as, a nation, be more unpredictable. But they’re going to be gone. And soon.
·              Secondly, we have to rebuild our military and our economy.
The Russians and Chinese have rapidly expanded their military capability, but look what’s happened to us!  …  We will spend what we need to rebuild our military. It is the cheapest investment we can make. We will develop, build and purchase the best equipment known to mankind. Our military dominance must be unquestioned.  …  We need to think smarter about areas where our technological superiority gives us an edge. This includes 3-D printing, artificial intelligence and cyberwarfare.   A great country also takes care of its warriors. Our commitment to them is absolute. A Trump Administration will give our service men and women the best equipment and support in the world when they serve, and the best care in the world when they return as veterans to civilian life.
·              Finally, we must develop a foreign policy based on American interests.
…  Our foreign policy goals must be based on America’s core national security interests, and the following will be my priorities.  …  And we must only be generous to those that prove they are our friends.  We desire to live peacefully and in friendship with Russia and China. We have serious differences with these two nations, and must regard them with open eyes. But we are not bound to be adversaries. We should seek common ground based on shared interests. Russia, for instance, has also seen the horror of Islamic terrorism.  I believe an easing of tensions and improved relations with Russia – from a position of strength – is possible. Common sense says this cycle of hostility must end. Some say the Russians won’t be reasonable. I intend to find out. If we can’t make a good deal for America, then we will quickly walk from the table.  Fixing our relations with China is another important step towards a prosperous century. China respects strength, and by letting them take advantage of us economically, we have lost all of their respect. We have a massive trade deficit with China, a deficit we must find a way, quickly, to balance.  A strong and smart America is an America that will find a better friend in China. We can both benefit or we can both go our separate ways.  After I am elected President, I will also call for a summit with our NATO allies, and a separate summit with our Asian allies. In these summits, we will not only discuss a rebalancing of financial commitments, but take a fresh look at how we can adopt new strategies for tackling our common challenges.  …   Our goal is peace and prosperity, not war and destruction.  The best way to achieve those goals is through a disciplined, deliberate and consistent foreign policy.  With President Obama and Secretary Clinton we’ve had the exact opposite: a reckless, rudderless and aimless foreign policy – one that has blazed a path of destruction in its wake.   After losing thousands of lives and spending trillions of dollars, we are in far worse shape now in the Middle East than ever before.   ,,,  Our friends and enemies must know that if I draw a line in the sand, I will enforce it.  …  My goal is to establish a foreign policy that will endure for several generations.  That is why I will also look for talented experts with new approaches, and practical ideas, rather than surrounding myself with those who have perfect resumes but very little to brag about except responsibility for a long history of failed policies and continued losses at war.
·         These are my goals, as president.  //  [Conclusion & THANKS!  ]
…   …   …   Under a Trump Administration, no American citizen will ever again feel that their needs come second to the citizens of foreign countries. I will view the world through the clear lens of American interests. I will be America’s greatest defender and most loyal champion. We will not apologize for becoming successful again, but will instead embrace the unique heritage that makes us who we are. The world is most peaceful, and most prosperous, when America is strongest. America will continually play the role of peacemaker. We will always help to save lives and, indeed, humanity itself. But to play that role, we must make America strong again. We must make America respected again. And we must make America great again. If we do that, perhaps this century can be the most peaceful and prosperous the world has ever known. Thank you.

The MESSAGE …

The MESSAGE … And it's Importance  Donald J. Trump brings the Conservative Message (like never before!)  Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity explain the Trump Phenomenon as the importance of the message: (1) Barack Hussein Obama has succeeded beyond the wildest dreams of his father in radically changing USA for the worse, bringing it down notches to other nation levels in some areas, like national DEBT and degrading the Military. Etc-Long-List. … (2) Conservative/Republicans have not fulfilled their election promises to stand against the degradation of the nation.  There are a few who tried, but ESTABLISHMENT Republicans care more about their power/positions than saving USA. (3)  Elite-Club Republicans and Democrats shun true Conservatives, like Ted Cruz, and outsiders like Donald J. Trump. Most Media is part of the Establishment, as are some ‘conservative’ talk show hosts.

Remember what made the Rush Limbaugh Show #1 in America:  The Liberal monopoly left a void of what many and most Americans saw, thought, and knew.  They were giving half-truths and lies.

In both instances, then with Rush Limbaugh saying what people were thinking, the Truth; and now, with Donald Trump also speaking the Truth, it fills a void and THE MESSAGE carries the day.  Ted Cruz was also able to fill this void and win the Presidency, but Donald Trump has been more forceful. .!.

As one talk radio caller said, (modified slightly):
Cruz:  “You have rats in your attic, and I can fix it.”
Trump:  “You have DAMN rats in your attic, and I can fix it, NOW!”

Your comments are welcome and solicited. What do you think and say?  When we view the seriousness of the American situation, anyone who speaks in polite terms doesn’t see the gravity of $20TRILLION left for our kids and grandkids, which will NEVER be paid off without Cruz or Trump.

Rush Limbaugh also observes and teaches that Trump is not an ideologue: he doesn’t see Left and Right but rather what is good for America. Further, this national election is ‘situational’, not ‘political’. Let’s Roll !!!  It won't be politics as usual.  The GOP is forever changed.
