Republican 9th Debate (SC) Dr Ben Carson comments (7)

Dr Carson Comments   (Time allowed his seven comments)
From the ninth debate in South Carolina, Saturday 13, 2016, with Republican candidates.

DICKERSON: Dr. Carson. Dr. Carson, you, like others, put out a statement after the death was announced, and you said the president should delay.
You've written a book on the constitution recently. What does the constitution say about whose duty it is here to act in this kind of a situation?
CARSON: Well, the current constitution actually doesn't address that particular situation, but the fact of the matter is the Supreme Court, obviously, is a very important part of our governmental system. And, when our constitution was put in place, the average age of death was under 50, and therefore the whole concept of lifetime appointments for Supreme Court judges, and federal judges was not considered to be a big deal.
Obviously that has changed, and it's something that probably needs to be looked at pretty carefully at some point. But, we need to start thinking about the divisiveness that is going on in our country. I looked at some of the remarks that people made after finding out that Justice Scalia had died, and they were truly nasty remarks. And, that we have managed to get to that position in our country is truly a shame. And, we should be thinking about how we could create some healing in this land.
But, right now, we're not going to get healing with President Obama. That's very United Nationsclear. So, I... (BELL RINGING) ... Fully agree that we should not allow a judge to be appointed during his time.

DICKERSON: Dr. Carson, I want to ask you a question...  (APPLAUSE)
Dr. Carson, you said you've had more two a.m. -- two a.m. phone calls than anybody up on this stage. But when those two a.m. phone calls came, you operated on a foundation of all of that amazing medical work that you did, all of that learning. So if you were to be president, though, you wouldn't have the political foundation that hones those instincts when the two a.m. phone call comes. So isn't that a liability?
CARSON: No, it isn't. First of all, let me go back to your first question for me. It wasn't phrased as who gets to nominate Supreme Court appointees, of course that's the president. So I know that there are some left wing media who would try to make hay on that.
Secondly, thank you for including me in the debate. Two questions already. This is great. Now, as far...
(LAUGHTER)    (APPLAUSE)
As far as those two a.m. phone calls are concerned, judgment is what is required. And the kinds of things that you come up with are some sometimes very, very difficult and very unique. One of the things that I was known for is doing things that have not been done before. So no amount of experience really prepares you to do something that has never been done before. That's where judgment comes in.
And that, I think, is a situation that we're in right now, a situation that we have never been in before with the kinds of threats that pose real danger to our nation, and it comes in very handy in those situations.

DICKERSON: All right. Well, Dr. Carson, I have got a question now for you.  You have said, Dr. Carson, that -- referring to yourself that people bought into the idea that, quote, "A nice person can't be tough on terrorists." You have called for loosening the rules of engagement for the military, which could lead to more civilian casualties. So, explain why those casualties would be acceptable in the fight against ISIS?
CARSON: Well, first of all, let me just address the Iraq question.
You know, I was not particularly in favor of us going to war in Iraq, primarily because I have studied, you know, the Middle East, recognizing that those are nations that are ruled by dictators and have been for thousands of years. And when you go in and you remove one of those dictators, unless you have an appropriate plan for replacing them, you're going to have chaos.
Now, fortunately, we were able to stabilize the situation, and it was the current administration that turned tail and ran and destabilized the situation.
(APPLAUSE)
Now, having said that, in terms of the rules of engagement, I was talking about, you know, Obama has said, you know, we shouldn't bomb tankers, you know, coming out of refineries because there may be people in there, or because the environment may be hurt.
You know, that's just asinine thinking. And the fact of the matter is...
(APPLAUSE)
You know, we -- obviously, you're not going to accomplish all of your goals without some collateral damage. You have to be able to assess what is acceptable and what is not.

DICKERSON: Dr. Carson, before we go to break, could you give us your sense of this conversation about either MedicAid, or economic growth through taxation?
CARSON: Well, first of all, let me just mention on the tax issue. BenCarson.com, go read about it because my tax plan has been praised by Kato, by Wall Street Journal. Forbes said it is the best, the most pro-growth tax plan, and it's based on real fairness for everybody. Starts at the 150% poverty level, but even the people below that have to pay something because everybody has to have skin in the game, and the millions of people can't, you know, talk about what other people have to pay and have no skin in the game.
And, it deals with corporate tax rate, and makes it the same as everybody else...
(BELL RINGING)
CARSON: ... Everybody pays exactly the same.
DICKERSON: Doctor...
CARSON: ... And, as far as Medicare and MedicAid, my main goal is to get rid of Obamacare, and put the care back in the hands of (INAUDIBLE)... [private sector].
GARRETT: ... Dr. Carson...
DICKERSON: ... Dr. Carson, I'm sorry we have to go to a commercial. The free market wants what it wants.
Back soon with the 2016 Republican debate in Greenville, South Carolina.   (COMMERCIAL BREAK)

STRASSEL: Moving subjects. Dr. Carson, this week Morgan Stanley agreed to pay a $3.2 billion dollar fine to state and federal authorities for contributing to the mortgage crisis. You have a lot of Democrats out saying that we should be jailing more executives, so two questions.
Should financial executives be held legally responsible for financial crisis, and do you think fines like these are an effective way to deter companies from future behavior like that?
CARSON: Well, first of all, please go to my website, Bencarson.com and read my immigration policy, OK? Because it actually makes sense.
Now, the -- as far as these fines are concerned, you know? Here's the big problem. We've got all these government regulators, and all they're doing is running around looking for people to fine. And, we've got 645 different federal agencies, and sub-agencies. Way, way too many, and they don't have anything else to do.
I think what we really need to do is start trimming the regulatory agencies rather than going after the people who are trying to increase the viability, economic viability of our society. Now, that doesn't mean there aren't some people out there who are doing bad things. But, I'm not sure that the way to solve that problem is by increasing all the regulatory burden. You know, when you consider how much regulations cost us each year, you know? $2 trillion dollars per family, $24,000 per family, that happens to be the same level as the poverty level...
(BELL RINGING)
CARSON: ... For a family of four. If you want to get rid of poverty, get rid of all the regulations.

Dr. Carson, I have a question for you. Candidates are...
CARSON: Before you ask the question, can I respond to the -- you know, they mentioned my name a couple of times.
DICKERSON: Alright. You have 30 seconds, Doctor.
CARSON: Alright. Well, first of all, you know, so many people have said to me, "You need to scream and jump and down -- jump up and down like everybody else." Is that really what you want? What we just saw? I don't think so.
And you know, I -- when I got into this race, I decided to look under the hood of the engine of what runs Washington, D.C., and my first inclination was to run away, but I didn't do it because I'm thinking about our children and fact that we are the United States of America. And anybody up here is going to be much better than what's going to come on the other side. And what happened tonight with -- with Justice Scalia tells you that we cannot afford to lose this election and we cannot be tearing each other down.
(APPLAUSE)
DICKERSON: Dr. Carson, I -- let me ask you a different question. When you were -- you were the first one, really, to talk about political correctness. Everybody now talks about it, but that was really what sparked your -- your rise. Politicians are often accused of glossing over any hard choices people have to make, just always selling happy, nice things. So in the -- in the spirit of saying something that might be politically incorrect, tell the voters something that they need to hear but that might be politically incorrect?
CARSON: Well, first of all, I'm not a politician, so I'm never going to become a politician. But here's what -- here's what people need to know. People need to know that free college is not -- it's a non-starter. You know, you have to look at our economic situation. We're on the verge of economic collapse and, you know, we're -- it's not just the $19 trillion, but it's also the $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities.
What we need to think about is what does that do to the average person? When we have a debt of that nature, it causes the Fed to change their policy, it causes the central bank to keep the -- the rates low, and who does does that affect? Mr. Average, who used to go to the bank every Friday and put part of his check in the bank and watch it grow over three decades and be able to retire with a nice nest egg, that's gone. That part of the American dream is gone.
All of these things are disappearing, and Bernie Sanders and people like Hillary Clinton blame it on the rich. They say those evil rich people, if we take their money we can solve the problem. It's not the evil rich people. It's the irresponsible evil government.
(APPLAUSE)

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
DICKERSON: Dr. Carson -- Dr. Carson, you're next.
CARSON: This is the first generation not expected to do better than their parents. Some people say it's the new normal, but there's nothing normal about it in an exceptional American. I, like you, am a member of we, the people, and we know that our country is heading off the cliff.
Joseph Stalin said if you want to bring America down you, have to undermine three things: our spiritual life, our patriotism and our morality. We, the people, can stop that decline, starting right here in South Carolina. If all the people who say, "I love Ben Carson and his policies, but he can't win," vote for me, not only can we win, but we can turn this thing around.
You know, we have this manipulation by the political class and by the media telling us who we're supposed to pick and how we're supposed to live. We, the people, are the only people who will determine that. And if you elect me as your next president, I promise you that you will get somebody who is accountable to everybody and beholden to no one. Thank you.    (APPLAUSE)

STRASSEL: We'll be back with a few final thoughts in a moment. (COMMERCIAL BREAK)
DICKERSON: So that's nine republican debates knocked down and at least three to go.  [12 total]

Republican 6th Debate, January 14th 2015 (continued)

[With this, the great debater Ted Cruz won the debate; until Donald Trump spoke and won it back; but Trump did not answer the basic question of his own NY values, which apparently have switched.]

DRAG ACROSS THIS DIRECT TRANSCRIPTION TO HIGHLIGHT IT.

TRUMP:  So conservatives actually do come out of Manhattan, including William F. Buckley and others, just so you understand. And just so -- if I could, because he insulted a lot of people. I've had more calls on that statement that Ted made -- New York is a great place. It's got great people, it's got loving people, wonderful people. When the World Trade Center came down, I saw something that no place on Earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than New York. You had two one hundred...
... you had two 110-story buildings come crashing down. I saw them come down. Thousands of people killed, and the cleanup started the next day, and it was the most horrific cleanup, probably in the history of doing this, and in construction. I was down there, and I've never seen anything like it. And the people in New York fought and fought and fought, and we saw more death, and even the smell of death -- nobody understood it. And it was with us for months, the smell, the air. And we rebuilt downtown Manhattan, and everybody in the world watched and everybody in the world loved New York and loved New Yorkers. And I have to tell you, that was a very insulting statement that Ted made.

Iranians provoked us with our sailors:
J.Bush:  We would restore the strength of the military.  Re-impose sanctions.  Jerusalem.
Kasich is asked to speak about Saudi Arabia oil and US fracking.  Bla-bla-blah // Me-me-me.

Air strikes against ISIS:
Carson:  We have to do more against the Caliphate.  Ask your military and give them what they need.  We don’t tie their hands.  Take the oil from them, their source of revenue.  Attack their command and control centers in Raqqa.  They should be running all the time.

Assad and Syria:
Christie:  HRClinton and Obama got us into this spot. They’ve done worse than nothing.

Banning Muslims:  [Wrong question; the question is a lie about what Trump proposed]
Trump:  We have to stop with Political Correctness.  I said ‘temporarily’.  I have Muslim friends and some of them say I am spot on. Obama can’t use the term ‘terrorism’ and so can’t solve the problem.  We have a serious problem and you can’t be stupid about it.  They laugh at us around the world.
[Bush jumps in to call Trump stupid.]
Moderator Neil Cavuto notes the Trump 11% jump. Are these people are also ‘unhinged’.
Trump:  I.  Want.  Security.   For this country.  We have a serious problem with radical Islam.  It is a problem all over the world.  I want to find out:  why didn’t the people call when they saw the pipe bombs.  Police are the most mistreated.  Why didn’t they turn those two in?  Something going on is bad and we have to get to the bottom of this.

Muslim Immigration, like Mr Trump says;  “I want to hear from all of you”, says Maria B. ::
Kasich: [Rhetoric]  Christie: Fund NSA.  Rubio: Obama underestimates.  “If we do not know who you are, you are not getting in.”  Cruz: Focus like a laser and pass the ex-patriot act. Secondly, pass the legislation I introduced to suspend immigration from countries controlled by ISIS or al Qaeda.  Carson: Common sense.  Get experts together, including other countries like Israel. Send Syrians to a safe place in their own country.  [Jeb Bush just starts talking and going on and on.]

NYTimes quote about Trump and China:
Trump:  They were wrong, The New York Times is always wrong.  We’ve lost between four and five million jobs because of China.  We have great power if we used it. Who the hell has to lose $505BILLION to China. We should use our best to negotiate, not political hacks.  We have to be smart. I love China and the Chinese but they laugh at our silliness.
Kasich insists on saying Donald is right.  Free trade, but fair trade.
Trump:  I’m liking him tonight.
Rubio:  The buyer pays the tariff. Make our Economy stronger, starting with tax reform and regulation reform.  Repeal Obamacare and bring our Debt under control by repealing Obamacare.

Cruz:  Donald is right—we are getting hammered;  Jeb is also right;  You pass a simple flat tax.  Abolish the IRS and the exports will be tax free and every import has a 16% tax.

[There are ad-breaks every so often, this one for the movie,
“13 Hours:  the Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”.]

Cutting spending and needed infrastructure rebuilding:
Christie:  $2TRILLION is offshore.  Bring it back to build jobs.
Carson:  Fair/Flat tax, no exemptions.  Stop spending so much money.  Get rid of regulations.   We are killing our people.  It is not the ‘rich’ like Sanders/Hillary say, it is the government.
Trump: Republicans and Democrats see it but they can’t agree.

Entitlements, Medicare:
Rubio:  What I am not going to do is like what Ted Cruz is suggesting, like they do in Europe with the VAT and income tax. I’ll side with Ronald Reagan and not Nancy Pelosi.
Cruz:  This is not a VAT tax, it is a flat business tax.  It eliminates the death tax, payroll tax. Mine is 10% and the tax plan goes up to 35%, leaving in the complexity.  Art Laffer wrote the plan for Ronald Reagan and says my plan is the best.
Rubio:  You are not going to eliminate the IRS because someone has to collect the taxes.
Christie:  No one up here wants to answer the question about Entitlements because it is hard.
Carson:  We released out tax plans, and multiple journals said mine is the best.

Trump is a billionaire;  will you have a blind trust:
Trump:  Ivanka and Donald [Jr] can run the company.  I wouldn’t care about anything but my country.

Crime spikes in 30 cities:
Christie:  FBI director is a friend of mine.  They give the benefit of the doubt to the criminal.
Kasich:  I created a task force long ago.

Immigrant green cards:   [Here, you can read the transcript for yourself, link is below.]
Rubio:  It’s been debated for 30 years.  Keep America safe.
Cruz:  I’ve been leading to stop;   Marco was on the other side.
Rubio:  You used to support [this, that, the other] and now you are against it.
Cruz:  He had no fewer than 11 attacks there and half are flat-out false.  [Details]

Before and After ‘word cloud’ about national safety:
[J.Bush changes the subject to the back-and-forth.]   23million files hacked by Chinese.

Closing Statements:
Kasich: (60 seconds). J.Bush: (Florida jobs). Christie: (Obama fantasyland);
Carson:  I’ve encountered so many Americans who are angry [w/DC] “We the People”.  Heal.
Rubio:  200 yrs ago, our rights come from God. The American miracle.  Now, it feels different.  In 2008 we elected someone who wants to change America.  2016 is a turning point; HRClinton would make it much worse.
Cruz:  “13 Hours” will show the incredible bravery and politicians that abandoned them.  This commander in chief abandons the military;  Hillary Clinton sides with “All Lives Matter”.  If elected, I will strengthen the military and “I will have your back.”
Trump:  I stood yesterday with 75 construction workers.  They had tears streaming down their faces as they watched Iranians with guns to our soldiers heads.  It was a terrible sight;  it was a terrible sight.  The only reason we got them back was because of the stupid Deal giving them $150BILLION.  If I’m elected president, there won’t be future stupid deals.

NOTE: In interviews with Neil Cavuto immediately after, we liked Carson, Trump, and Cruz. He spent the most time with Ted Cruz and attacks on Ted Cruz being born by an American mom in Canada.
This will be like pesky gnats with no effect. Trump actually inoculated Cruz by bringing it up first for the Iowa vote.

NOTE:  As noted above, we like what other minor candidates say: Fiorina, Christie, and even Kasich make excellent points against Obama and HRClinton, but this is already known and could be said by the main two candidates, Trump and Cruz, who each spoke about the other being their VP, maybe.

You will want to browse through or read in detail the transcript:
You can also use the FIND command to search for your favorite topics, like [values].

We enjoyed watching the three ‘undercard’ candidates. Here’s the transcript:
They hit Obama/Hillary hard.  These points are also made by the top two or three.

Here is the Wikipedia entry, for what it’s worth:

This concludes our NOTES on the sixth Republican Debate.

Republican 6th Debate, January 14th 2015

Republican 6th Debate, January 14th 2015, SC, via Fox Business Network

ED:  Read the great comments via the transcripts listed below. We highlight top tier;
(others make truly excellent points, including Christie, Fiorina, and even Kasich.)
Trump increases his lead and may even ‘take’ Iowa; showing “13 hours” in Iowa.

Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo were moderators for Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson,
Christie, J.Bush, and Ohio Gov John Kasich.  90-second answers and 30-sec rebuttals.

JOBS:   (picture shown)
Cruz: Let me start with the ten sailors captured by Iran; Obama sends $150BILLION.  “The next commander in chief is standing on this stage.”  Things are rosy in DC and Wall Street.   Fight for the working man.
Kasich:  [ED: We’ll minimize rhetoric of the minor hopefuls.]  “I did it; bla-bla-blah!”

GLOBAL EVENTS:
Christie:  I watch ‘story time’ with Barack Obama and it was different hearing from him.
J.Bush:  Obama’s alternative universe.   “Peace through Strength!” HRClinton = disaster;  FBI.
“She might be going back and forth between the White House and the court house.”
Rubio:  I would go a step further—she is disqualified from being commander in chief, with her illegal actions.  Also, she lied to the families.  Obama apologized ten separate times around the world.  When I’m president of the United States, we are going to win the war against ISIS.  If we capture them, we will bring them to Git’Mo and find out everything that they know.
Carson:  [Joke about waking him up]  Obama needs to understand war is different now:  dirty bombs, internet cyber attacks, and potential electric grid attacks. If we give our powerful Military a mission and don’t tie their hands, they can get it accomplished.

REFUGEES:
Trump:  It’s not fear in Terror—it’s reality.  Paris had the strictest gun control, now with 130 killed. It could be the great Trojan Horse.  Very few women and children, just strong powerful men coming in.  Look at the couple that came in.  We are $19TRILLION dollars in debt.  We can’t just let them in.

NYTIMES reported $1million for your campaign:
Cruz: Thanks for bringing up their hit peace.  Unlike Hillary Clinton I didn’t have millions in the bank.  My opponent had $200million and we put up our own money.  Both of our filings were public and, yes, I did make a mistake on one of the filings.  But if that is the best The NYTimes has, they had better go back to the well.

Canadian born:
Cruz:  Glad we are focusing on the important topics of the evening.  Trump said he had his lawyers look at this from every angle and there was nothing there.  The Constitution hasn’t changed.  Facts in the law include a citizen who has a child abroad, soldiers, and Mormon missionary parents of Mitt Romney.  Donald’s mother was born in Scotland.  [Trump: But I was born here.]  I’m not going to use your mother against you. The most important thing is who is best qualified to be commander in chief.
Trump:  As you know Ted, I am beating you in the polls.  I was all for you until you misrepresented the polls.  Lawrence Tribe of Harvard questions one who isn’t born on our soul.  [Booing when Trump says he won’t choose Cruz for VP.]  You should go out and get a declarative judgement.   [Smiling, Trump says he is doing better now and has a 4% chance.]  Democrats are going to bring a lawsuit; and you have to have certainty.  You cannot have a question-mark hanging over your head.
Cruz:  Larry Tribe represented Algore in Florida, etc. and the Clintons.
Rubio:  Since I was mentioned let me get back to [Obama weakening America.]  When I become president of the United States, I’m getting rid of his illegal executive actions and repeal Obamacare.

Nikki Haley [cheers] was referring to you:
Trump:  Nikki, wherever you are sitting, we are friends.  I will gladly accept the mantle of being angry.  Our country is being run by incompetent people.  She said the truth.  I didn’t find it offensive at all.

Nasty Words:
Rubio:  We have a serious problem with Obama undermining the Constitution.  Christie supports Common Core, and gun control.  Christie agrees with Obama’s agenda and wrote a check for Planned Parenthood.
Christie:  Rubio criticized J.Bush for being a Bush.  Let’s get the facts straight. [details.]
J.Bush:  My name was mentioned;  we need to unite behind the nominee.
Carson:  I was mentioned too (“Moderator said everybody.”)  We have to stop damaging each other.  This nation is over if Democrats win the WH and get more Liberals on the Supreme Court.

Bernie Sanders Socialism:
Kasich:  I can promise you he is not going to be POTUS.

Bill Clinton:
Carson:  There is no question we should be able to look at past behavior, but here’s the real issue:  Do Americans still have standards and values?  We have race wars, income wars, age wars, and gender wars.  Our strength is in our unity.  Where have we gone?  It did not come from our Judeo-Christian roots.  We need to recognize there is right and wrong.  Stand up for what we believe in.

Gun control:
J.Bush:  First of all, I recognize Nikki Haley and those killed in SC, counting on the Grace of God.
Trump:  I am a Second Amendment guy.  [Examples]  What Jeb said is correct: mental health problem.
Rubio: The Second Amendment is not an option.  This Adm undermines the Constitution.  ISIS and terrorists do not get their guns from a gun show.  Every answer that Barack Obama has, is gun control.  When he ran [before], he referred to gun-clingers and Bible-thumpers.
Christie:  Be concerned about a dictator.  Founding Fathers thought it important. Obama is a petulant child—I hope he is watching:  We are not against you, we are against your policies.
Cruz:  The answer is simple: you prosecute criminals.  Obama launched Fast and Furious.  Etc.

NY Values:
Cruz:  Most people know exactly know what ‘New York values are’. [Maria B says she is from NY] You are from NY and so may not:
listen, there are many, many wonderful, wonderful working men and women in the state of New York. But everyone understands that the values in New York City are socially liberal or pro-abortion or pro- gay-marriage, focus around money and the media.
And -- and I would note indeed, the reason I said that is I was asked -- my friend Donald has taken to it as (ph) advance playing Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA", and I was asked what I thought of that.
And I said, "well, if he wanted to play a song, maybe he could play, 'New York, New York'?" And -- and -- you know, the concept of New York values is not that complicated to figure out.
Not too many years ago, Donald did a long interview with Tim Russert. And in that interview, he explained his views on a whole host of issues that were very, very different from the views he's describing now.
And his explanation -- he said, "look, I'm from New York, that's what we believe in New York. Those aren't Iowa values, but this is what we believe in New York." And so that was his explanation.
And -- and I guess I can -- can frame it another way. Not a lot of conservatives come out of Manhattan. I'm just saying.   (LAUGHTER)

[With this, the great debater Ted Cruz won the debate; until Donald Trump spoke and won it back; but Trump did not answer the basic question of his own NY values, which apparently have switched.]

Rudy Giuliani, "If you can't see this as Jihad, you're a moron!"

ED (political comment)  Last evening we were at our Christmas choir practice:
Southern California Mormon Choir. A daughter (and husband and baby) live
in the same condo as the San Bernardino murderers. She was told she had
to evacuate immediately and she left with her baby—husband was at work in
lockdown. They live just through the wall of the now dead perpetrators.
Those who want to know details immediately are out of order.    And
also, what we need is to have more concealed weapons and training.
Concealed weapons can turn ‘soft’ targets into ‘hard’ targets .!.
FYI: Daughter/family of our choir friends have a common condo-wall w/Jihadists.
They used a battering ram on the Jihad-condo door to go in. Friends know other details.

If this isn’t terrorism, then what is it?  Who enabled this??
"If you don’t see this for what it is, then you are a moron” - Rudy Giuliani
If we don’t act, then we are the authors of our own destruction.
Some legislators fear to articulate what we all see and understand.
CA has strong gun control;  not a deterrent;  they made IEDs
FoxNews Megyn Kelly and guests spoke the best, says Rush Limbaugh.
Just early this week, Obama said we could rest easy, no threats;
… this admits that his Regime isn’t doing a proper job, says Rush.
Today, Obama says (1) We’ll get to the bottom of this (i.e., himself);
and (2) We need gun control.  [ED: OK! but more citizen guns!]
Rush:  If you cannot see what is going on, you simply are not trying.
Rush:  Islamic-Jihad is not terrorism?  This is stunning and eye-opening.
CAIR was with the Jihadist’s brother even before the FBI was.
Rush: It’s simple and boils down to Sharia Law and their scripture/manual.

"My God" is greater than "Your God" .!.

God is greatest! God is greatest!              [“Allahu Akbar” means “God is GREATER!”]
Say With Me
Woe To The Colonialist
And God is Over The Invader Egotist,
God Greatest My Country Say with Me:
And Behold of Enemies Forelock and Destroy it
Say it with me, say it with me:
God, God, God is the Greatest
God is above any attacker!

"Allahu Akbar" was originally an Egyptian military marching song which became popular in Egypt and Syria during the Suez Canal War of 1956 .

We are not sure why we are watching this except to tell you.  Can we take it for two hours?
Rush says B.Sanders won’t be allowed to win, and O’Malley is just there to provide an opponent.

Openings: Sanders is shocked w/ISIS; H.Rodham Bring the world together; O’Malley My heart goes out.

HRC:  We have special operators;  I’ll be the Commander-In-Chief; the world will do it, diplomatically.
O’Malley: I disagree;  we must rise with human intelligence.
Sanders:   Climate Change is a bigger threat, leading to ISIS.

Sanders:  Regime change has unintended consequences.  O’Malley: Cascading effect of HRClinton.
HRClinton:  Assad has hung on—it is complicated.  [She is talking with her hands, trying to impress.]
Sanders: Those Muslim nations have to get their boots on the ground—we can support them.

Libya
HRClinton:  We did have a plan.  [Still talking forcibly with her hands, but want is she saying?]
O’Malley:  We need to act intelligently and the area is a mess. A Mom said, “My son is not a boot on the ground.”
Sanders:  500,000 came home with post-war-syndrome—they fought for us, we should fight for them.

Sanders wants fewer nuclear and modern weapons (brings up his own topic)

Syria Refugees:
O’Malley:  I was the first to support accepting the 65,000.
HRClinton:  Screen the 65,000;  Russia showed a video shot of secret drone plans.

{The first commercial ad is an R-rated movie ad; anti-Walmart union ad; five more.}

Who pays for [freebees]?
HRC:  Certainly not the middle class;  get jobs going again. Read details on my website.
“We will have to re-do the way the pharmaceutical companies do business.”
O’Malley:  We raised sales tax a penny and made our public schools the best in America.  Climate Change.  Lower capital gains tax.   We can work towards free colleges.
Sanders:  The redistribution has trillions going to the top tenth of 1%.  Eisenhower had 90% tax.

Healthcare costs/Obamacare:
HRC:  A great achievement of Democrats.  Let’s build on the Affordable Care Act (for everyone).
Sanders:  I am on the committee that wrote the Affordable Care Act;  [attack] pharmaceutical.  Universal healthcare is a right, not a privilege.

O’Malley jumps in and insists on talking over the moderator;  however, “Senator, you are breaking the rules and we have to break for a commercial.”  Six ads, ending with a clip of xxx saying he can work with the president, “Sure!”

Comprehensive Amnesty on condition of Borders:
O’Malley:  Donald Trump is a carnival-barker   [cheers]  We had zero immigration from Mexico.
HRClinton:  The president has appealed to the Supreme Court:  he has the authority.  Dreamers.
Sanders:  At the end of the day, millions work two jobs because the Minimum Wage is too low.

O’Malley jumps in to say they raised the minimum wage to $10 and it created jobs and economic growth.   Sanders demands to jump in to say San Francisco and other are doing it.  Hillary supports
$12 minimum  (still talking with her hands, so annoying.) O’Malley argues back. They are talking over each other, and you get the Hillary cackle as the moderator goes to commercial break, again.

Wall Street Money:
HRC:  People know that I will level the playing field.  Look what I did in the Senate.
Sanders:  Not good enough.  Let’s not be naïve. Break of the Big Six banks w/50% of the money.
Sanders:  They make millions in contributions and expect to get something.
HRC demands to jump in to defend her integrity: the majority are women.  On 9/11 I worked to rebuild NYC and Wall Street.  I go after all of Wall Street and not just Wall Street.
Sanders:  It is a corrupt campaign finance system; show by example.
O’Malley:  We need new thinking on economics in the Whitehouse.  HRC is ‘weak team’.
[They are attacking each other and talking about Glass Steagall and banks destroying us.]

Sanders:  Who are we kidding?  The banks played by the rules.  Who made the rules?

Guns:
HRC:  Well, I think there are different records;  Sanders made a terrible mistake.   200 children have been killed.  This is an emergency.
Sanders:  We need mental health checks.
O’Malley:  Secretary Clinton, you’ve been on three sides of this, like Annie Oakley.  [She laughs.]
Sanders: People are shouting at each other, not you Mrs Clinton.  We need to come together.

Twitter  “What does helping on 9/11 have to do with taking large donations?”   Bla-bla-Blah.

HRC:  Paul Krugman is on my side.  I don’t think a new Glass-Steagall is enough.
O’Malley:  Go on my website and donate to support real campaign finance reform.
ED NOTE:  All three are talking with their hands, with wild gestures, fun to watch.  (Ads).

How do you deal with the Republican revolution?
Sanders:  Make the wealthy pay their share;  Minimum wage is popular;  bring people together.
We have large rallies and are defeating the secretary with the young people.
[Ed:  When pressed, he says he is still tired of HRClinton’s eMail; and we get her human chuckle.]
HRC:  We need more to vote and Republicans are preventing people from voting.

FBI Investigations:    HRC:  After 11 hours that is clear [cleared up] Get back to issues.
HRC:  All of us believe in Climate Change and funding Planned Parenthood. [Fight Republicans.}

Police Officers:
O’Malley:  I put forth a new agenda.   I attend more grave sides.  Yes, Black Lives Matter.

Young and Black:
Sanders:  We spend $80billion, disproportionately Black and Hispanic. Let states legalize marijuana.
HRClinton:  I came from the 60s and activism.  I appreciate youth standing up, respect each other.
A White man pulled out a gun and shot a Mother and daughter over their loud radio.

Free Tuition:
Sanders:  An extraordinary investment for this country.  The debt is too large; if they study hard, with no regard to the resources of their families.  States are running deficits but will do the right thing.
O’Malley:  I actually did this, the only state.  Etc.  Make a new block-grant; lower loan rate.
HRClinton insists on jumping in, even thought she was the only one who hadn’t spoken.  We don’t need to pay for Donald Trump’s kids to go to college.

Obamacare:
Sanders:  It won’t happen tomorrow, but at the end of the day [universal socialism] Single Payer.
HRC:  The revolution never came.  We have the great accomplishment [Obamacare].  I would not want Sander’s plan to have the state support everything put together.
Sanders: We expand Medicare to all people;  SC is Rightwing and denies people.

O’Malley wants to add his two-cents worth but is denied because of a commercial break, “Sorry.”

 What Crisis shows you lead:
HRC:  There have been so many (laughter)  Advising Obama to go after Ben Lauden.    In the end, I advised doing what we could to go after him.  I had to keep it a secret.
O’Malley:  I don’t think there is a crisis in my position that rises to that level.  But I can protect.
You learn to build feedback;  I have lead and governed people in a crisis.
Sanders:  I was on the Committee over Veteran Hospitals, determined to do everything I could.

Closing statements:
O’Malley:  No amount is too small to donate to my campaign. We are at the threshold.
Sec.Clinton:  Heard a lot about me; I’ll think about you.  Children.  Even the odds.  Caucus for me.

Sanders:  This country has the wealth; no healthcare; childhood poverty. Bring political revolution.

4th DEBATE last evening (color commentary) Click and scroll to read it all .!.

Our Conservative Report on the 4th DEBATE, 11/10/2015
There were great points (four hopefuls) in the ‘under-card’ debate, but we
focus on the color/high-points of our top favorites only. Find a transcript.

Our thinking: (1) main candidates could say the same; (2) Transcripts exist.

The color guard presented the Stars and Stripes, followed by a solo.
The audience must have been told to not sing (singer was not that good.)
There was no accompaniment and she drifted up and down on the pitch!
Next, a prepared video to introduce the debate (at 9:01pmET) Road to WH.
It ends with a short clip of Ronald Reagan, speaking at the mic, red tie.

Neil Cavuto says they will quote their own words and what others replied.

Minimum Wage ($15), for Trump:  No.  We are being beaten on every front. We don’t win anymore; my Tax Plan will work.  Leave it the way it is; people work hard. “I would not raise the minimum.”  [He re-coins, leaving out ‘wage’.]

Jobs and minimum wage, for Carson:  People need to be educated on the minimum wage; only 19.8% of Black teenagers have a job.  I worked as a lab assistant, gaining experience.  Be responsible.  Ascend the ladder of opportunity.

Giving away $$, for Rubio:  Let me answer this and the first question (parents worked for a better life in America.)  The Economy is not providing JOBS. Raise the minimum wage and low-earners will be replaced with machines.  Here’s a better way:  ……   For the life of me, I don’t know why we have stigmatized laborers:  welders make more than philosophers.

$20TRILLION IN DEBT, for Kasich:  My Father carried mail on his back.
[Our note on this one is an example of not typing while he filibusters.]

Tax Reform, for Cruz:  It’s the most important question:  bring back economic growth.  The Obama Economy is a disaster, and it doesn’t have to be.  1. Tax reform, a bold 10% flat tax;  2. Pull back regulators;  3. Sound money.  The results have been phenomenal when tried with JFK and Ronald Reagan.
[On the other hand, our note here is an example of typing brilliance.]

Many have given up, for Bush:  WSJ praises my plan. Repeal every rule of Obama.  Start over.  Be serious about being serious. HRClinton says the policies of Barack Obama get an ‘A’.  It may be the best that she can do, but it is not the best that America can do.
