The Snowden movie
I wanted to write a little bit about the Snowden movie—it’s great! First about the director, Oliver Stone: he
says he had become reflective, and it shows.
Second, about Edward Joseph Snowden’s father, who served in the military—he
influenced his son—patriotic and brilliant.
As a computer person myself, this is a highlight in the movie. Rather than follow the steps in the five to
eight hour drill at NSA to enter, he solves it in 38 minutes by writing
generating scripts. And the Rubik’s cube
sequence is also brilliant. But what
makes it awesome is his beautiful wife and the music. In telling some of his story at the end, his
video audience gives him a standing ovation—you’ll feel it in your heart
too. But the real clincher for the
masses is that Nicholas Cage supports him at the beginning and at the end. Be sure to sit through the credits because
latest developments, including Obama clips, are telling. And the very last line … warms your heart.

Although this is a high-priority topic (private information protection vs public safety against Jihad) there are some among us (LDS faithful and other religious people) who do not go to R-rated movies. Should Snowden be an exception?
So, was Snowden a Patriot or a Traitor? (Can't really be both.)
(Note to webmaster: would prefer that all areas of text were several points larger; for instance, as I type this, it is about the tinieest text I've ever seen on the internet. I'd prefer at least double or triple the point size. Teeny point size is very difficult to edit, as you can hardly place the insertion point where you want with the mouse. Thanks.)
Regarding the font-size: we are learning. There are some choices provided when POSTS are made, but seemingly not for COMMENTS under the POSTS. Let's try using a word-processor to set the font-size and then cut/paste into the COMMENT. This is a test:

Didn't work. Bottom Line: We'll study more and see what we can do.
